Q: Activate Upgrade to full version?!?

Hey guys,

I never had the chance to try Aperture. I have the last generation of Apple's 13" MacBook Pro nonRetina (with a SSD upgrade)!

But I have the chance to but it (instead of full version the upgrade one (version 3.0)! Is it possible to activate the upgrade one as a full version and getting Aperture 3.6?

Greetings,

If you uinstall an upgrade version you will need to run it and enter both the serial number for a full version (do you have one?) and the upgrade serial number.

But the problem will be, that you can no longer update Aperture 3 versions to Aperture 3.6, that do not appear in your Purchases history at the AppStore. That excludes all older Aperture versions purchased with a serial number.

The Aperture 3.6 update is only availabe from the App Store by reinstalling an App Store version.
