Unable to hear iPhone 6SE using BT headset

I have a new iPhone6 SE (bought to replace an iPhone 4S) and have paired my existing PT Legend Bluetooth Headset with it, It pairs fine, but I cannot hear any calls on the phone, all I get is silence. I cannot hear anything on both outgoing or incoming calls.

I have confirmed the headset works fine by pairing with an iPhone 6 , and I hear the call ring and pick up fine on this.

I have dropped the headset from the 6SE and repaired it, no effect, checked volume is up etc. When I put on the headset it confirms it is paired but getting no sound from the phone.

I have checked and the iphone6SE is on the latest OS 9.3.2 which supposedly fixed the BT problems.

Has anyone any information that may help.

Hi

It may help to:

Update the firmware on your Plantronics Legend headset:

If you have not yet done so, unpair the headset from any other device that it may still be paired with.

Restart your iPhone SE:

By the way, you have an "iPhone SE", rather than an "iPhone 6SE".

It may otherwise help to reinstall iOS on your iPhone:

Backup your iPhone:
- via iCloud (encrypted as standard), or;
- via iTunes on a computer - IMPORTANT: choose to "Encrypt iPhone backup", so that the backup includes sensitive data including saved passwords, any Health data and Wi-Fi settings.

Restore your iPhone as new (ie to factory settings) using iTunes:
Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
Afterwards, restore your iPhone from the encrypted backup;
Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
Try pairing your headset again:
Set up and use third-party Bluetooth accessories - Apple Support

If the issue persists, I suggest that you contact Apple Support or make a Genius Bar reservation for assistance, including with a view to having your iPhone checked under warranty, if recommended by Apple:
