Can Not Reimport Iphone Videos to Relink

I imported multiple iphone videos to a Final Cut X library with 'create optimized media' and 'copy files to library' selected. When I disconnect the iphone, I get a 'Missing Camera' alert on the files. When I reconnect the camera, I get the little camera icon on the footage timelines. But when I try to relink the videos using File > Import > Reimport from Camera/Archive it is greyed out.

Suggestions?

Possibly the transcoding (optimize wasn't completed). In the Browser, select and right click the clips and choose Transcode Media. If it gives you an Optimized option, check it and then wait until the background task indicator shows that the process has been completed. Quit FCP and relaunch.
