Q: Importing and Burning on iTunes for Mac

You can buy a CD/DVD drive & connect that to use for importing or if you have other Macs with CD/ DVD drives you can share the drive or import the music and move them manually (or share them via home sharing in iTunes).

Apple sell the Superdrive http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD564LL/A/apple-usb-superdrive it's generally compatible with Macs but way more expensive than third party ones you can find elsewhere.

Sharing DVDs or CDs with Remote Disc - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1131 - does not work for ripping CDs

Thanks Limnos, I missed that part about Audio CD's not being sharable. You would need to rip the CD on the second Mac & then transfer via another method Stringbean09, sorry.

If the physical CDs were purchased from Amazon, you can log into your account and get the MP3s to download and add to your iTunes library, even if you no longer have the CD (or a drive to read it with).  This is the Amazon "AutoRip" feature.
