I cannot connect to the App store

I cannot connect now to the App store on my iPad Air 2 where as I was previously able to. I have no problem connecting with my iPhone 6s. I tried going into the settings and checking information but to no avail.

iPad Air, iOS 9.3.2

When I open the App icon nothing appears when I select Featured, Top Charts or Explore, jsut a blank screen. When I touch Purchased or Update my existing apps appear. If I try to do a search for a new app nothing happens. I tried the things suggested in the Apple Support but still no luck. This was working yesterday but not today. I do not remember making any changes to my iPad.
