Q: Shared Calendar Not Syncing Alert

My wife and I have a shared calendar. When I or her create an event on the shared calendar and set an alert for an hour lets say, that alert is shown on my phone or mac but not on her phone or mac and she is not alerted. Anyone have any thoughts? or is this an iCloud bug?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

Good Morning bjamin82,

I understand you and your wife are sharing an iCloud calendar, but she is not receiving notifications for the event. Take a look at the settings outlined in the resource below to see if that resolves your issue.
