Q: iCloud drive not visible on Mac (El Capitan)

1) I'm using iCloud drive on El Capitan on multiple devices and on 2 macs.
One one macbook pro the drive is visible but remains empty and in the finder folder I cannot enable the iCloud drive (box remains 'grey' as in not-clickable). Any idea what this could be? Works fine on all other devices.

2) iCloud drive is enabled on iPhone 6. However, when I want to save a file the drive it does not show up in the 'save to' options. Dropbox does show up.

Thanks for you help!
