change ownership of iphone 6

Hi i have just traded my phone for a second hand iphone 6 and it all works perfect and has been reset, i have been assured it will not get blocked or anything but is there a way to register the phone as mine so nothing can happen to it? i have linked it my itunes and icloud etc.

I am just a little worried incase they lied and report it stolen or block it or something?

There is nothing you can do to stop a previous owner from calling their carrier and reporting the phone as stolen. If you're using a different carrier, that might not even matter. You're just going to need to hope that the person who sold it to you is honest.
