Q: Quicktime changes-Options?

Is Quicktime gone?

How do I put a Keynote or iMovie file on a CD or play on other platforms (i.e. Windows) now?

Options?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

    Is Quicktime gone?

No, why are you asking, what is wrong?

QuickTime is a core component of Mac OS X and has not been replaced.

QuickTime player is located in the Applications folder

Within Keynote, Export to QuickTime is performed with:     File > Export > QuickTime

How do I put a Keynote or iMovie file on a CD

    either:

    1. Right click the Keynote file and select: Burn to disk
    2. or use a third party recording software such as Roxio Toast

play on other platforms (i.e. Windows) now?

The choices are exactly the same as in all previous versions of Keynote:

File > Export and choose from either:     PowerPoint, Quicktime, PDF, HTML or individual images,  which ever option suites best.
