Q: Apple ID Locked

So yesterday I made an apple ID and after i did type the password wrong wrong couple times so it asked me to verify the account to get unlocked. I follow its step and unlock my apple id successfully. I checked with my iTunes on pc and other iPad and my Appple ID works fine. But on my own iPhone when tried to sign in with that account. It made me stuck in loop unlocked, verify and reset password. I did reset my password 5 times and it not works. It look like my iPhone get locked from sign in to that apple id. I can’t login to update or download new app. But other the apple id works fine on other iphones.

    Hello FadyNader,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with your Apple ID on your iPhone is not what you expect. Since your Apple ID works on the other devices, this helps narrow this down to a software issue with your iPhone. Here is what I suggest you do next to resolve your issue:

    1. Sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone at Settings > iCloud, as well as Settings > iTunes & App Store. Then restart your iPhone and test the issue again, as the shut down and start up process is important to keep the iPhone software running properly:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    2. If you're still having this Apple ID issue at this point, you will need to move to more intensive steps to resolve this, so you need to make a backup of your personal data:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    3. Next step is to reset of all settings on the iPhone and then test the Apple ID issue again. Now, don’t worry, this will not affect any of your content. All of your contacts, pictures, music, and other personal data is all safe. What it will do is reset your custom settings back to the factory defaults. So, background pictures, sounds, fingerprints and stuff like that will have to be set back up again. On your iPhone go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

    Reset iPhone - iPhone

    Cheers!
