Q: My phone shows my name wrong

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. I know how important getting your name corrected is to you! Based on what you stated, it sounds like the name being shown when you send your location via the Messages or Find My Friends app is not up to date. Since this is based on your Apple ID info, here is how to fix this:

1. Go to the Apple ID website and sign in with your Apple ID, then update and correct your personal info.

2. Once that is corrected, then sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone, restart your iPhone and then sign back into your Apple ID and test the issue again.
