Q: Camera Shutter Closed Unless I'm in Selfie Mode

If you see a closed lens or black screen when you open the Camera app, try these steps:
- Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
- Force the app to close, then open the Camera app again.
- Restart your device, then open the Camera app again.
- If your device has a front and rear camera, try both cameras by tapping
. If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.

I have now done:
1. Hard Reset to clear ALL data
2. Initialized as a "New" phone - still cannot take pictures
3. Hard Reset to again clear all data and apps
4. Restored to a previous version of the phone (before I did step 1)
5. All of this including your recommended steps have been done and my camera functions only work in Selfie Mode.
Are there any diagnostic that I can run that will tell me the status of the back-camera and the flash-light components or must I go visit my friendly Apple Store?
