Q: helpppp

the appstore wont let me download snapchat, it keeps saying "update" as if I already have the app and it needs to be updated. but I don't have snapchat on my phone??? help?

    Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are having an issue with installing Snapchat on your iPhone. I know how important it is to be sure all apps are installing properly. You might want to start by doing a search on the iPhone to be sure the app is not downloaded on the iPhone. You can do that by checking out this article about how to Use Search on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

     

    If the search doesn't find the app on your iPhone at all, go to Settings> General> iTunes and App Store. Then tap your Apple ID and sign out completely. Then restart the device and sign back into the iTunes and App Store and then go to the App Store and try to redownload the app to the iPhone.
