Changing keyboard shortcuts presets in El Capitan

I'm using El Capitan.

Before updated to the new version, I usually familiar with 'command+space bar'

to change between two input languages.

But after upgrade it became 'control+space'.

I tried to change the keyboard shortcut preset but by using 'Ctrl+F7' as instructed

the system preference didn't allow me to change anything, even my account priority is admin.

Is there anyone know how to solve this problem?

Control+F7 is already assigned to a 'Keyboard' shortcut so you would have to change both or disable the 'Keyboard' shortcut.

If you create a keyboard shortcut that already exists for another command or another app, your new shortcut won’t work—you need to change your new shortcut or the other shortcut. To change a shortcut, select it, click the key combination, then press a new key combination.

you have to click on "^Space" first.

I clicked it already and tried to type new combination key but it doesn't change anything...

I wondered if it's a bug of the new upgraded version.

Because I used to do this before with the previous version and there was no problem.

Well, it's not a bug because I am running the latest version and as you can see in my screenshot it highlights for me. So either you have some third-party software installed that prevents it from working or one of the plists is corrupted. Unfortunately I don't know which plist.

You can also try just restarting.
