Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. From your post, I am understanding that you are an Apple Music member, and want to know how you can get songs from your computer to your iPhone. I listen to music on the go regularly, and having access to my library on my phone is really convenient; I'm happy to help make sure that you have your content on your iPhone!
When you have Apple Music, you don't sync your iPhone using the USB cable. Instead, you use your iCloud Music Library to wirelessly upload and transfer your content. You can then either stream the content over a data connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) or you can download the music directly onto your iPhone so you can listen offline whenever you want, wherever you are.
The article linked below will walk you through getting your content into your Appel Music library.
Add music from your own collection to your Apple Music library
Once you've done that, you can use the "Download music to listen to offline" section of the following article if you wish to save your content locally on your iPhone.
Add music from the Apple Music catalog to your library on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PCHappy listening!
