Q: iMessage will not accept either my @me.com address OR my @icloud.com address.
iMessage will not accept either my @me.com address OR my @icloud.com address. It will ONLY send from my OLD gmail account (which I no longer use - I just keep because I must have it for my appleID) or my phone number. My default iMessage send used to be from my lastname@me.com account.
What's happened? I've already: turned off and on iMessage, reset iPhone, reset iPhone and deleted all data, signed out of icloud on ALL devices (I have 5), backed up from iTunes.
I've done everything and talked to FOUR different applie support techs. None a) know what I'm talking about or b) can offer any kind of solution.
I don't want to get a totally new appleid as my email is very specific to my name and I've had it forever.
