Unable to Manage Subscriptions from Phone

iPhone 6, IOS 9.3.2

I need to cancel a subscription. I am advised that I must go to "Settings", then "iTunes & App Store". I am to tap on my Apple ID. This is supposed to take me to a menu where I can manage my subscriptions.

This does not happen. When I tap on my Apple ID, I choose "View Apple ID". I window begins to open, but closes immediately, with no further effect. I have logged in and out several times, and restarted several times. I do not use iTunes software.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with managing your subscriptions is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, you are unable to view the details of your Apple ID from Settings > iTunes & App Store to manage your subscriptions on your iPhone. Here is what I suggest to resolve your issue:

1. Sign out of your Apple ID at Settings > iTunes & App Store. Then force close the Settings app.

Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

2. Next, restart your iPhone, as the shut down and start up process is important to keep the iPhone software running properly:

3. Then sign back into your Apple ID at Settings > iTunes & App Store and try to manage your subscription again.

View, change, or cancel your subscriptions
