iPhone SE Bluetooth Problems

Hi all,

I’ve purchased an iPhone SE as an upgrade from my 5S and love it to bits!

But I experience problems with my Jabra Move Bluetooth 4.0 headset. Whenever I connect it to my iPhone the first 30 seconds or so are somewhat distorted. Like skipping of a scratched CD like back in the day😉. After that everything is just fine and the sound is nice and crisp.

Until I make a phone call that is. I can’t hear what the other person is saying, the sound is all blurry and scrambled. I don’t get complaints from the other side so I assume from my side the sound is coming through normally.

The funny thing is I don’t experience any of these problems using my Sony Bluetooth 3.0 speaker. I think it has something to do with the Bluetooth 4.0 version.

I’m on iOS 9.3.2

Hello dan!phone,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with using a bluetooth accessory with your iPhone is not what you expect. Since you're not having the same issue with a different bluetooth device and your iPhone, I would try testing the Jabra Move headset with a different phone and test the issue, as well as check with Jabra if there are any firmware updates for the Jabra Move. The following article also has helpful steps for troubleshooting this issue:

Cheers!
