Q: unable to see iPhone apps on iTunes (PC version 12.3.1.23)

Hi

=> I have an iPhone 6 - updated to the latest OS, all legit, NO jailbreak

=>I have iTunes PC version 12.3.1.23 on my laptop

=>I've connected the phone to the laptop, started iTunes, synched and backed up the phone

=>After all this, I click on the iPhone or Phone icon on iTunes, then click on Apps

=>I see the screens with the colours etc on the right hand side pane, but CANNOT see the apps list on the left (the place where you can sort apps by size, name etc)

=>Obviously I've tried to synch 2 times, backup 2 times, removed the wire and re connected, shut down itunes and re started etc etc.., but the issue (of NOT seeing apps list) remains

=> I have enclosed a screen shot of what I see / can't see What_I_see_and_what_I_dont.png

=> Could some kind soul please help me see the apps on iTunes

=>I need to sort them by size and do some cleaning up

thanks in advance

best regards

Subu

    Hello there, from_subu!

    Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It looks like you are needing to organize your Apps on your devices with iTunes. I know how important it is to be sure the Apps are organized the way you want them to be. Based on the screenshots, it's possible the apps might not be showing on the left because the apps on the device are not downloaded to the computer itself. For that, it would be a good idea to check out this article that tells you how to Download your past purchases.

    Just be sure you update your iTunes to the latest version. Based on your post, your iTunes is 12.3.1. Check out this article that tells how to Get the latest version of iTunes.

    Cheers!
