My device failed to update through iTunes and now it is stuck in recovery mode?

My device was having some issues so I decided to restore it to factory settings in iTunes. The update and restore failed and now my iPhone is stuck in recovery mode. It is over a year old but I was wondering if the Apple Sote will replace it or not? Thanks.
