why cant i get service anywhere with my iphone 6

i bought my iPhone 6 a few days ago and it worked fine until I went to software update and it said it needed to be updated to IOS 9.3.2. After I updated it my service was lost. I couldn't place calls or texts or receive calls or texts. I think it was because of the update. Can someone help?

If you can't make or receive calls on your iPhone, maybe this article will help:

As a last resort, see the last paragraph in the above link:

If you still can't make or receive calls, restore your iPhone as new.If restoring doesn't fix the issue, contact Apple Support or take your iPhone to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider.

Do you get a message where you carrier name should be?

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Have you tried removing the Sim card and replacing it?

Some more general Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Reset / Reboot: Hold down the Home and sleep/power buttons until the apple logo shows up.

    If still not resolved:

  2. Reset al Settings. Go to Settings->General->Reset->Reset All Settings

    If its still not resolved:

  3. Restore the device as new.
