I have an iPod Touch v6. I just had my older iPod Touch v5 repaired and updated it from a backup that came from my v6 device. I do not backup with a PC. I only back up and restore from iCloud. A couple of questions:
1) I keep getting notifications on my v5 device that i have 7 upcoming events. There is also a red "7" on the Calendar app on the home screen. There is no such app badge on the v6 device nor do I get 7 notifications of future events on my v6 device. Regarless of the notifications settings on my v5 device, I still get these notifications. I would love for the notifications to appear just as they do on my v6 device.
2) Notifications again. I get Twitter and Amazon notifications on my v6 device, not on my v5 device. Again, regardless of the notifications settings on the v5 device.
My assumption was that the two devices would operate identically to the other when it came to notifications, etc. Everything else works fine. I hope this all makes sense and I appreciate any insight.
