Using WALTR I transferred three videos "successfully" over to my iPhone but can't find them anywhere. There used to be a video.app on the iPhone but I don't have one. Suggestions are to use the search function by swiping on the home screen and after searching, I only get web content. Nothing is searched on the iPhone itself.
How do I get video.app BACK on my iPhone 6?

Hi - I was having the same problem and found that the Videos App is now called TV (app on home screen). If you open it and get started, it explains the change. You can then find your video, movies and TV shows in the library. I hope this helps.
I agree 100% with your response. Why would they make it so difficult to find this answer to a problem that I see several people having. After all Apple bases their entire marketing on the use of iTunes and Videos and such on their devices.

In a similar circumstance, i found it ready for me to download through iCloud in App Store. That is, my search in App Store for "video" gave me my own application with a prompt to download it.
I don't believe I had any content, but I certainly don't at the moment.
The app is actually called "Videos".
If it's not on any home screens or inside folders, check Settings > General > Restrictions, to see if it's restricted, therefore hidden.
I did check the Settings and had to enable everything. Did a full reset of the iPhone because no "videos" app appeared and still no videos.app. Using Phone View I can examine the iPhone and it does list the two videos under 'movies' but there is no movies app. I have 'iMovie" but that is useless in this situation. I know that at one time I did have a Videos icon but that was several iOS versions back.
Hoping to resolve the problem I imported the two videos into iTunes, selected the iPhone, checked the two videos for import, hit sync then done and found no videos.app. Reset the iPhone and still no videos.app appears. I checked "Photos" where there is a Videos folder but only iPhone made videos appear there, no new videos. They aren't on the Camera Roll either. I checked the music app thinking maybe Apple moved everything there but no, no videos there.
I'm at a loss to understand why I don't have a videos.app or a way to view imported videos. Again, I fired up Phone View to look at the entire iPhone disk and sure enough, they are listed there under "movies" but where are movies stored? Where is the app to access those movies???
Now on the iPad I do have a Videos app. Why don't I have one on the iPhone 6? And how do I get a Videos app installed on the iPhone? Isn't it a default app from Apple?
I would think that if the Videos.app were somehow deleted or removed by accident that it would be returned the next time I upgraded iOS but that doesn't appear to have happened. I want to be able to watch videos on my iPhone but at present I cannot do that.
Apple has mucked up this forum so bad that I am unable to re-edit the message above and replace it with a shorter response. I keep getting "unable to post, refresh again in a few minutes...". I have disliked coming to these forums for quite sometime - not because the responses are bad but because the forum is so screwed up just finding the proper place to post a question requires hoop jumping repeatedly and even then you're never sure. Here's my final answer on this:
I gave up on trying to find a non-existent videos.app and went to the App store to download a third party video player. I tried three players. Two looked promising but they could not find videos and wanted me to create a folder then go back to iTunes and import them into the folder. That was ridiculous. The third player found the videos easily and quickly and is now playing one of the videos nicely. That's how it should be. The name the free video player is PlayerExtreme.
I am disgusted with Apple that they have made this forum and the video player problem so very difficult.
The Videos app is part of iOS install and cannot be deleted (unless you did it via direct access to iOS files). Try a Spotlight search for "Videos" not "video.app".

I found the TV app and I can see my videos under my library. But when I try to play it, it does not load. It says the request is timed out. Is it better with the 3rd party app you found?
