Will this command "sudo chflags 0 /Volumes/*" delete my data?

I want to Unlock my external hard drive "it not shown on finder nor on utilities" it's WD My Passport 2 Tera.

I have read that this command unlock it:

"sudo chflags 0 /Volumes/*"

I have type it on Terminal then I got:

WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss

or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your

typing when using sudo. Type "man sudo" for more information.

To proceed, enter your password, or type Ctrl-C to abort.

Password:

Now ONLY answer if you sure that it delete or don't delete my data cause I don't want to lose it?

It won’t delete your data, but that should be backed up anyway.

If a connected drive(other than a network server) doesn’t show up in the Disk Utility, the problem is in hardware, and no Terminal command or other software can resolve the issue.

To run sudo commands the user must first of all enable root user account , once entered in root user account correct sudo command must be executed .

I have read the article it don't tell if the command above will delete the data inside the WD external or not.

It won’t, and enabling root isn’t part of using sudo.

That is NOT correct, and is not beneficial in any way. Do not do this.

I have try it and I have know now that the case is not a locked disk, the case is that when I type

diskutil list

on terminal don't show me the external, and it not shown on finder, and not shown on utilities, so how to make it shown?
