Q: UNAUTHORIZED DEDUCTION OF $29.99 FROM MY ACCOUNT. WHY??

So i got a bank alert from my account stating that the naira equivalent of $29.99 was deducted from my account without me making any purchase of that sum or even authorization.

My history doesnt even show any recent purchase. Last purchase which was 30th of June was a free app i.e. uber.

My bank statement shows that the equivalent of $29.99 has been deducted from my account.

Does this mean my card details are no longer safe with you. Y'all just deduct my money anyhow without my authorization? i want my money returned and NOW.

I am a student who has exams coming up and i got no money because you deducted over 10,000 from my account.

Its so wrong and so unfair.

If your purchase history doesn't have the purchase in it then it's not your iTunes account that has been compromised but rather your bank account, you need to contact your bank, it isn't YOUR iTunes account that has taken the money.

Thank you. i have contacted my bank and they confirm that that sum was deducted by iTUNES

Yes but did you check it was your iTunes account, it sounds very much as though it's another iTunes account. This is how these people do this, they get hold of your bank details and then test them out by making a small purchase with something that might not look too suspicious. Please re-read what I said above carefully.
