Q: which version of Windows 32 or 64 bit?
I am switching from PC to an iMac. which version of Windows runs better for the Mac and should it be 32 or 64 bit. I plan to run Parallels?

if your system has more than 4GB then a 32Bit Windows OS will have addressable memory limitations over 64Bit.
Primarily this would be 3GB total ram addressable to a single application from a total of 4GB RAM it can access (all open apps AND the OS are limited to this 4GB)
64Bit OS's can address more than 4GB RAM, in some cases they can address 128GB RAM which is a limit of the OS, not a limit of the 64bit architecture which can theoretically access millions of GB's RAM.
If your computer has less than 4GB RAM there should be no noticeable performance issues.
