2-step verification apps
Does Apple plan to use any 2-step apps like Google, Authy, Lastpass authenticator or 2stp?

Apple has implemented a newer Two-Factor Authorization (note the name difference from the older Two-Step Verification) that uses Apple devices as trusted devices. It requires iOS9, OS X El Capitan. See Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support
