Q: Why would my iPad shut itself down and reboot two times a day?
I have an iPad, and it is rebooting itself two or three times a day. It will freeze, and not take any commands, then all of a sudden, it reboots. Of course, then it takes a few minutes to get it back up and operational. After a while, it will reboot itself again.
I noticed prior to this the touch screen not responding like it use to do. Is this interrelated?
iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iOS 9.3.2

It could be touch screen related but see if restoring to factory settings helps ...
Instructions here > Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
If not, check your warranty coverage in case it needs repairing > https://checkcoverage.apple.com/
