Q: I just got an I Phone SE, set up the Fingerprint reader and at first it worked but now it quits working.
I hate using the passcode so I finally got the fingerprint reader installed and it works for a time or two then will not read the fingerprint correctly at all and keeps saying it failed to use a passcode and I am getting upset. The phone is new and I am still learing how to use it but there is something wrong because my son has an I phone 6 and it was working great!
Any advice will be appreciated. Should I take my phone back to the store?

It takes a little time and patience to use Touch ID.
When you go through the setup process follow the instructions to the letter. Do not be afraid to apply pressure.

You shouldn't need to return the iPhone.
Alternatively, you don't have to use a passcode to unlock your iPhone unless you want to use it for purchases.
