Q: Juice spilled on my laptop :(

So yesterday I was eating with my brother and he accidentally knocked his lemonade over. It spilled over the entire trackpad but did not go on anything else because i freaked out and moved it before it could. I wiped it off and used a slightly wet towel to make sure it wasn't sticky. After that I realized the trackpad no longer makes the very loud click sound. It is now very low and I don't know what to do because everything else is good so far. How do I get the loud click sound from the trackpad back?
