Upgrading iCloud storage for Apple ID without logging in?

I currently have two apple ID's. One is my original apple ID that I've had forever and the other is my former MobileMe email address that was converted to an apple ID quite a while ago. I would like to increase the monthly storage amount on my MobileMe apple ID but to do so it appears I have to deauthorize one of my apple devices from my main apple ID first. Is there a way around this?
