unlocking iPhone
I was given an iPhone 3 Model A1387 however, the phone is locked and I need to unlock it. Can this be done at an Apple store?

If it’s carrier-locked, only if Apple accidentally gave you a locked phone as a replacement for an unlocked one.
An iPhone 3G is too old to be activation locked.
