Hotspot only discoverable after launching hotspot settings

Hello community!

Me and a couple of friends are in a trip, and we all baught one data package, for 15GB (only option given to us)

I have an iPhone 6S, using iOS 10 Public beta (not sure if it is iOS 10 problem or not), so I said I will just open a hotspot for them 24/7 and they will connect.

When trying to connect to a Wi-fi network from their android phones, they don't see my network, unless I just go into "Personal Hotspot" - doesnt turn on or off, just go to that page in settings.

Both my Wifi & Bluetooth are on, so I am not sure why every time I try to connect from their phones, I have to go back into settings and press on the personal hotspot tab to be discovereable..

Hope you guys now what I need to do, because this is driving me mad!

Thanks!

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.2

At the end of the day, your provider must allow hotspot for iPhones.

Since day one, if your provider allows you to hotspot you need to enter into the tab and then have your devices connect. The phone is still usable, but you must leave it open for other devices to connect. Once the other devices are connected you can leave it running in the background without any issues.

IMO this is all for security.
