Q: Syncing music with iPod nano 7th gen

I've actually had that happen to me, syncing all of the music on my computer to my device. I'll be more than glad to help.
iTunes syncing is from the computer to the device. You can select exactly what you want on your device when you follow the steps in this article -- Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB
If you've removed your music from the iTunes Library, your purchased music is tied to your Apple ID.If you've removed music from CDs, use the appropriate article below:

Yes!
If there is media on your device that you want see Recover media from an iPod. There is no need to delete the content in iTunes first, and it certainly won't help.
