    Hello TheDingo Man,

Thanks for asking your question here in the Apple Support Communities. I understand how important AirDrop can be to make sending files easy. Here are a few things you need to check to ensure AirDrop works on your device.

The first thing you want to ensure is that your Mac is capable of this feature. The AirDrop system requirements need an iMac (Early 2009) or later. But if you are trying to send items to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or to receive items from those devices, you need a 2012 or later Mac model with OS X Yosemite or later.

If you have the necessary hardware and software to do this, the please check over this help article from Apple: Use AirDrop to send content from your Mac. There are quite a few things to check in that article so this feature works, but I highly recommend the section titled "Tips for sending items".

Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.
