The easiest way, if you do not wish to completely erase the computer, and set it up new with a new version of OS X and all new apps, is to make a new account. The other option you have is to just go in and change the home folder name. It is not as easy, and some things may need you to adjust the permissions to get them to fully work properly, such as Time Machine backups, etc., but this help article from Apple will provide you all the steps to do this option: Change the OS X user account name and home folder name on your Mac.
