I know I have asked this question before, but as I have not found an answer, I thought I would ask again.
When trying to sync my Ipad to me Imac via I tunes, I get:

When I back up my wife's Ipad to the same Imac, but on her account, there is no issues.
I have checked permissions on the Itunes folder which appears to be fine.
Hopefully someone will be able to point me in the right direction to solve this infuriation problem.

It will be helpful to expand the little triangle next to "3 Total Problems" and show that to us. The actual issue(s) are listed there hopefully.
It just lists various music or video files it cannot be found, which may clear if it can find the folder I think/hope
I ought to have added that after clicking ok to both, Itunes just sits there saying 'copying'

ok... you have your answer then.
You have asked iTunes to sync/copy some content to the iPad that does not exist. Specifically those files it can't find. Deselect those files and the errors will go away.
I'll guess your wife's sync selections do not include those same files.

The 2 errors you are seeing don't seem completely related.
The one about the Mac HD is something be copied to your MAC that is failing. This tells me one of the items you have chosen to sync to the iPad was stored off line form the Mac, i.e. on a USB drive etc. Sound like the chosen destination folder on the Mac is not found. This could happen if your iTunes library has entries in that are bio longer there.
You don't need to blank the iPad, just go back over, in iTunes, the items you have chosen to sync.

The most effective way would be to try and "play" each track on the Mac first. You will get an error message there if the Mac can't find the track. Then you can remove the track from your iTunes library or go find it.

I'll have a go at this later as have to go out now. I'm still not sure how this will solve the 'HD' not being found, but I'll try.
