My magic mouse does not seem to be charging

I Have tried to chatge it through the lightning cable on the computer and also on an usb adapter and nothing seems to happen

iMac, iOS 9.3.2

and the document will show you how to approach it.

I'm having the same issue. After connecting the trackpad this morning with the USB/lightning connector the USB menu showed the battery level at 20% ... and it's still now at the 20% level some 6 hours later.
