Q: Heat generation

Hi guys

I have iPhone 6S plus, 64BG, iOS 9.3.2 just bought 2 days back. I noticed that, when I charge it. It generates heat while using it connected to the cable at the same time and this incident rarely happened with my previous iPhone 4S. Also, I noticed after using social media app ( Tango ) for video calling, it generated heat also (became warm) and again, is this normal with 6S plus or I need to take it to apple?

When you say it generated heat, was it just warm or did it get a temperature alert?
Are you using a wall outlet or an extension cord?
Are you using an iPhone case?

If it's just warm, I'd say it's normal. Charging does make any device heat up, so does intensive use. If it gets temperature alerts and/or if it's burning hot (burning hot : you feel like you should not be holding it, it's not confortable taking it in your hands), I'd be more concerned.

Yes, it was warm but as I compare it with iPhone 4S, getting warm rarely happened. I don't use a case fot it, the warm durable but I have to ask because its new and costly device
