Register a macbook pro already registered

I bought a macbook pro late 2011 some time ago to a guy that i have never met. The thing is, this guy registered his macbook pro, because he bought it new, so now, i need to register this macbook pro to my account, but i can't see how to do it. Is it that even possible?

Btw, there is no chance to contact this guy anymore.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), null

The MBP should have been prepared for sale according to this Apple document before you bought it:

What to do before selling or giving away your Mac - Apple Support

If he didn't you probably can't log out of iCloud in order to log back in under you own Apple ID.

Therefore you may have to backup your files, wipe the drive clean and reinstall the system under your own Apple ID.

Do you mean, you cannot register your Mac at https://supportprofile.apple.com/ as your device for support?

There is nothing what you can do on your own to remove the previous owner's registration.

Contact Apple Support with a proof of purchase. (Official Apple Support. https://support.apple.com). Only Apple can remove the previous owner's registration. I do not know however, if they will do it.
