    Hi hustedfc,

    In order to send pictures from your iPhone 6 you should check a few important things on your device. I can help you check this out! First, we should check if there are any updates available for your iPhone.

    Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    After checking for updates, adjusting your Messages settings on your iPhone is also necessary. Sending media such as photos and audio requires a mobile data or Wi-Fi connection. Enabling MMS on the device, if not already enabled, should do the trick. Tap Settings > Messages then turn on MMS.

    If you can‘t send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    You can use the link above for more great troubleshooting procedures to resolve the issue with sending pictures. Thanks for using Apple Support Communities for help.

    Have a great day.

    My wife had this issue the other day. I logged her out of iMessage, restarted the device, logged into iMessage, and everything worked.

    Hey this worked for me this morning!

    If resetting your phone's network settings doesn't work or you have to do it constantly, you can try changing your Wifi DNS to use Google's DNS.

    To do this for your wifi connection via your phone:
1. Go to Settings->Wi-Fi
2. Tap the "i" info icon next to your Wi-Fi network
3. Edit the DNS field, changing the value to 8.8.8.8
4. Exit Settings
5. Your Wi-Fi will reconnect and you should be able to send pictures via iMessage

    This change will need to be re-applied if you ever choose "Forget This Network" or reset your phone's network settings. A more permanent fix is to set your router's primary DNS to 8.8.8.8!

    hope this helps
