why can't I get past the apple logo on my Ipad?
When my IPAD 3 is charged I can only get as far as the apple logo, why is that?

Hard to tell, it can be for any number of reasons. If your device will not start up, try a reset, holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release.
