Q: I have a question regarding what happens after you change your Apple ID account password.
I recently decided to change my Apple ID password due to privacy concerns.
I was given an IPad that I no longer have control over, but it was once mine and it was logged into my Apple ID. Is it possible that after I changed the password changed, private messages and photos from my cell phone were suddenly available and visible on the IPad? Even though I have not personally used it in a long time and this device no longer shows up in the iTunes account or iCloud?
Please let me know.

When you change your AppleID password in the web management page online at Apple, the device apps and settings have no knowledge of that change until you actually log out and back in with the password in each app or setting. The old device, if it tries to connect at all anymore, would be using your old password, and so would be blocked.
Nothing about changing your AppleID online automatically propagates it to any of your devices. You always have to enter the new password manually on each device you use.
