Q: power point unable to run slide show

Unable to run Power point slide show, screen computer 13" Air jumps to Slide mode without slide show appearing?

Have updated restarted etc with same results, thnx.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

You can try to repair disk permissions in your Mac Repair disk permissions with Disk Utility - Apple Support

finally got thru a data set & did disk utility which is now first aid.
