Q: ipod touch 5th Gen, crashed and won't start up again.

My ipod touch 5th generation, 64GB, crashed a few weeks ago, and I've spent the last few weeks trying to restart it.

What I've tried so far:

Holding in Power button, apple logo shows up on screen but it doesn't actually start.

Holding in Power & Home button, apple logo shows up but it doesn't actually start.

Holding in Power & Home button for 1 minute. Apple logo shows up, and then goes off, shows up again, and goes off again. Doesn't start up.

Plugging into a wall outlet, apple logo shows up but it doesn't actually start.

Plugging into computer, apple logo shows up but it doesn't start, computer doesn't recognize anything being plugged in.

I have tried all these multiple times, and different days.

Is there anything else I can do, other then bring it to an Apple store location? (and possibly pay a small fortune)
