Q: New AppleID can't login, blank screen
The Girlfriend has bought herself a MBP retina and registered her own AppleID finally but when she tries to use it she is redirected to the applid.apple.com website and prompted to log in. I assume its to set up her account with a credit card and verify the account as genuine.
Trouble is when she puts her password in a blank white box appears and then nothing happens it just sits there for about a minute or so before resetting back to the log in page.
Tried this with safari on her MBP and Safari and Opera on my MBP and it does it on both of them!
Any ideas whats happening?
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

A credit card is not required just to setup an Apple iD.
See if resetting her Apple ID password helps > If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
If that doesn't help, on Safari, go to the Safari menu bar, click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click: Remove All Website Data
Quit then relaunch Safari tot test.
