Jul 17, 2016 12:17 PM in response to Cheese1357by Russ H,Were the past projects created in a version of the FCP X that was earlier than 10.1? In other words, were the projects you're looking for created before Final Cut began using the integrated library structure that it currently uses?

Jul 18, 2016 1:56 PM in response to Cheese1357by BenB,- In the Finder, in the File menu, select New Smart Folder.
- Top right, click the plus sign.
- Change the "Name" selection to "Kind".
- Change the "Any" selection to "Other".
- In the blank field to the right of that, type in "final cut pro library".
- At the top right, click "Save".
- Title it "FCPX Libraries".
- Keep both "Add To Sidebar" and "Hide Extension" checked.
- Save it to your Desktop or somewhere handy.
If these are from older FCPX versions, before it used Libraries, then..
- Launch FCPX
- In the File menu select "Update Projects And Events".
- This will update older projects and such to Libraries.
- Create a Smart Folder as outlined above.
