Q: ios 9.2.3 not allowing connectivity to bluetooth in GM vehicle

Since I upgraded to 9.2.3 my phone no longer recognizes the bluetooth in my 2011 GMC Yukon.  I reset network settings and settings, I deleted the profile out of my car to re add it and changed the name of my phone.  Nothing seems to work.  My husband's phone that has not been updated can still recognize it and my sons phone with the upgrade does not.  It appears as a 9.2.3 issue.  Any ideas?

    Hi torylynnbrown!

     

    I see that your iPhone can no longer connect to your car stereo since installing the iOS 9.3.2 update.  I know it's important to be able to pair your iPhone with your car stereo, and I'm happy to help.  A possible cause of this would be that the car stereo's firmware may need to be updated so that the stereo can be compatible with the latest software.  Car dealerships are usually able to help with this.  You can also try the suggestions in the following article:
