Q: Mac becomes unresponsive when plugged
So, I just restored my Mac to Factory Settings because a few days ago it slowed down drastically to the point where the applications become unresponsive and I couldn't even open the Activity Monitor so I had to force shut down my Mac multiple times.
Then, after re-installing OS X Yosemite, my Mac became useful again.
But after a few days, I found out that whenever I plugged in the MagSafe, the Mac becomes unresponsive just like before I restored it to its Factory Settings. It works perfectly fine when not charged, but every single time I plugged in the MagSafe, it just shuts down on me. The spinning beach ball of death has been my companion for the last few days.
I tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM, but it didn't work at all. It's very frustrating to stop in the middle of my work or whenever I'm watching movies just so I can shut down my Mac and charge it.
What else should and can I do?
I own a Macbook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2012, Version: 10.10.5) and I've had it for 3 years.
