Thank you for using Apple Support communities. It's my understanding you're unable to update your iPhone. I know it's very important to have updated software. I am happy to help.
Your iPhone can be updated wirelessly or with iTunes. If you're seeing this error message when updating wirelessly try connecting to iTunes and updating using the steps below:- Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
- Connect your device to your computer.
- Open iTunes and select your device.
- Click Summary, then click Check for Update.

- Click Download and Update.
Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
